J. Thorne has been writing since a young adult. She started officially writing inspirational books in 2007 and soon after started her own publishing company, Zadok Publishing.

Under Zadok, she published her own books and those of others as well as unique handmade greeting cards that were featured and sold in local card stores and churches. Though Zadok Publishing is no longer in operation, she is still writing and publishing books that bring inspiration and wellness.

J.Thorne is also a ghostwriter of three books and has contributed to a number of anthology book projects geared toward self-awareness, self-discovery and self-development and revitalization.
